Universal singer with Mexican roots, Eugenia León is well known for her vocal quality and interpretative strength. These qualities, along with her innate creativity, have allowed her to create a broad repertoire other within the various musical genres: northern song, ranchero, bolero, ballad, tango, danzón.
Both at national and international level, Eugenia León is identified as one of the most recognized and representative interpreters of Mexico and the Spanish-speaking.
With a professional course of over 30 years in which 27 records are added, 4 of them performed in 1 year (reflecting her immense work’s capacity), and the presentation of countless memorable concerts in the most important scenarios from inside and outside the country; it’s time for Eugenia León to tell her own story.

Guided by a magnetic and personal narrative, Eugenia introduces us into her world. It begins with the girl who washes dishes while humming a song from the radio and whose adolescence finds a meaning at the early 70’s by singing along with groups of young students who, like her, searched in latin music and protest songs space for their rebellion.
Vocation and awareness will make Eugenia a committed singer to the people, to her country and its causes. Further on, Eugenia wins the International Festival OTI, the same day as the tragic earthquake shakes Mexico City in 1985. It was a breaking point and resurgence that inevitably will be marked in the history of the country and the artist.

Photos, music and video (some of them unreleased) from her documentary archive, recreate part of the life and career of the versatile artist, authentic and expressive woman who is Eugenia León. In the words of José Antonio Alcaraz: "... traveler, stop: youve reached the clearest song region.
